Jack has been a custom framer since 1982 when he graduated with a history degree and no job.  He jumped at the opportunity to manage a custom frame shop and gallery in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Much to his surprise Jack discovered he loved the creativity and craftmanship custom framing required.  Through the years he has worked in busy city shops as well as from home.  Jack became a Certified Picture Framer (CPF) through the PPFA in 2004. 

You'll sometimes see Paul, who's 12, and Sadie, who's 6, here as well.

SweetGrass opened on February 14, 2003.  We're celebrating our 5th Anniversary in Downtown Boyne City.
